Three very different urban landscapes taken on my travels in recent years, and converted to Oil Paintings. Each place has especial significance for me. Each autobiographical in some way. Trying to capture that sense of personal connection in each painting through use of colour and detail was my objective. Even if you can’t relate to my personal story, the emotion and thus the essence of the piece should be tangible, at least that’s my hope with all my work. 🙂

These are extraordinary, baby. I love colors and light in Worthing and NYC and the textures in the Dublin piece.

Those give me chills not simply because they are fantastic pictures but also because I know each of those views (the first very well, the second pretty well and the third only once well). I must introduce you to some of the other painters that I blog with. Your work should be selling.

Thank you, Osyth for your vote of confidence. As always I deeply appreciate your support. I’m glad these images resonate with you too. I think that’s what art is supposed to be about. It should make us feel something, hopefully positive. 🙂
